RACING WITH RESTON RUNNERS

Our club has an amazing and diverse range of athletic talent. Many are new club members and are in training for their first 5K or 10K. Others are experienced runners who run competitively and have completed dozens of marathons and ultramarathons. We are unified in our love for the sport and a desire to reach personal goals.

 

Reston Runners is making a renewed effort to compete as a team at upcoming road races.We motivate each other through the many good (and bad) miles.  Entering races and competing as a team helps each of us establish running goals--achieve our fastest time, or perhaps run farther than we have before. Racing keeps us motivated and on track (pun intended)! And, we always look forward to a post-race celebration!

November 2, 2024 is the 13th annual Jack T. Farrar, Jr, "Fill the Shoes" 5K race! Thanks to tons of support, thousands of dollars have been raised for the Pancreatic Cancer Network. The Reston Runners' Finish Line Services Team provides the timing for this event. Register and run or walk the race for a great cause!

Celebrate the Holidays at the 2024 RINGING IN HOPE Jingle Bell Rock & Run!  Choose either the timed 5K or 10K race or parade in your holiday finest on the 1-Mile Jammie Jingle Fun Run!  But that's not all. This annual holiday event is more than a run, it's loads of fun for the entire family. There's entertainment, games, holiday music, Food at the Finish Line, vendors galore, and a visit from the Big Guy himself, Santa Claus.  The Jingle Bell Rock & Run festivities will be sure to put you in that holiday spirit!  Make this Holiday Season a truly memorable one.
