We lovingly retired our former race title, Runners Marathon of Reston (RMR) and renamed it Run Thru Reston (RTR). This is our premier race event of the year and we will present a stellar community race for runners by runners!

Run Thru  Reston benefits the Reston Runners Community Fund (RRCF) a non-profit 501(c)(3) entity. RRCF provides annual scholarships to student athletes at South Lakes High School and Herndon High School. RRCF also provides financial support to Reston/Herndon area elementary and middle school athletic programs. Our goal is enhancing local youths’ quality of life and health.
