This portion of the Reston Runner website provides information and coordinating instructions for our annual participation in the JFK 50 mile ultramarathon.  The JFK 50 is conducted by the Cumberland Valley Athletic Club (CVAC) and is held the Saturday before Thanksgiving. The race starts in Boonsboro, MD and finishes in Williamsport, MD.

The food will consist of a buffet style setting including unlimited amounts of: tossed salad, garlic bread, pasta with 2 different sauces (meat sauce and tomato/non-meat sauce) three different kinds of pizzas, plain and cinnamon bread sticks with dipping sauce and soda beverages.  Beer will be available for an additional charge for those runners/diners wishing to purchase it.
